We collect information you choose to give us when you:
- Make a donation: your name, email address, and donation amount, and whether you’d like your name listed on our Donors page.
- Become a Business Sponsor: your business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website, and logo.
- Become a Family Sponsor: your family name, email address, and an optional family photo.
- Contact us: any information you include in your message.
Payments
All payments are processed securely by PayPal. MPPEF never receives or stores your credit card or bank account numbers. PayPal’s handling of your information is governed by PayPal’s own privacy policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process donations and sponsorships, send receipts and confirmations, recognize supporters on our website, keep records required for a 501(c)(3) organization, and contact you about MPPEF events and programs. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
What We Display Publicly
- Donors: only your name, and only if you choose to be listed. Donation amounts are never displayed.
- Business Sponsors: your business name, logo, website, phone number, and public email address, as provided in your sponsorship form.
- Family Sponsors: your family name and, if provided, your family photo.
To change or remove a public listing at any time, email us at info@mppef.org.
Photos of Children
Family photos are submitted by parents or guardians, who confirm they have permission to share them. We will remove any photo promptly on request. Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Cookies and Third-Party Services
Our website uses essential cookies so the site functions properly. We also use trusted third-party services that may collect limited technical information (such as your IP address or browser type) to provide their service, including PayPal for payments and Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection on our forms.
