The Midland Park Public Education Foundation (MPPEF) is pleased to announce it is sponsoring one, $1000 scholarship to be awarded to a graduating Midland Park High School senior. The applicant must be accepted to and planning to attend an institution of higher learning or technical school in the fall of 2022. Children or relatives of current MPPEF Board of Trustees are not eligible to apply for the scholarship
The MPPEF believes all students can meet their potential through education. “The scholarship committee is seeking a deserving individual with exceptional leadership skills who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the community,” said Carrie Thompson, MPPEF President. “Strong academic achievements and active involvement in extracurricular activities throughout their tenure at the high school are also important components in our decision-making process” she added.
In order to be considered for the scholarship, students must complete the application in its entirety and submit it along with an essay. The link to the application is available on the Midland Park High School website, as well as the MPPEF website: www.mppef.org.
The completed application is due no later than 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 11th, 2022. To ensure your application receives full consideration, you must adhere to the deadline and instructions above. Late applications will not be reviewed.
Finalists will be notified in late March. At that time, an interview with the committee members will be scheduled.
